The person behind the modern AC transmission system, the one who spoke eight languages, produced the first motor that ran on AC current, developed the underlying technology for wireless communication over long distances, held approximately 300 patents, claimed to have developed a “super-weapon” that would end all war was an extraordinary gift to the mankind who made the future of mankind bright and also made everyone believes in the power of a human brain which is capable of doing the impossible was Tesla!

7 Golden Rules of Nikola Tesla in which he always believed and followed are listed below:

1. It’s all about Energy and vibration

Tesla believed in the powers of the universe. He believed everything works on the principle of energy, frequency, and vibration as the universe controls everything, it aligns you with people, things and situations that match the energy you put out. The more you improve yourself and raise your vibration, the more you will see things that are beneficial to your life.

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration..

2. The person who looks inward awakens

Most of the time we look for the answers outside but the truth is that the answers are within us! Reflection is an important part of oneself which helps in self-discovery and provides the answers to actually what you want in life. If you invest your time in finding your own strengths and weaknesses then it will give you a clear perspective of what you want in life and what you want to become.

From childhood, I was compelled to concentrate attention on myself. This caused me much suffering, but to my present view, it was a blessing in disguise for it has taught me to appreciate the inestimable value of introspection in the preservation of life, as well as a means of achievement “

3. Never stop learning, exploring and reading

In this beautiful journey of life, one should never stop learning and exploring new things. Books are like the food to the brain which opens the doors to knowledge and success.  In this world which is full of resources like the internet, we should try to make the most out of it and seek the gift of knowledge. Books give a soul to the universe, food to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.

“Of all things, I like books best.”

4. Be patient as good things take time

Sometimes, in the beginning, things do not go the way we have planned so at that moment we should have patience, as good things take time. Patience has the power to lead you to what is actually meant for you.

Tesla’s patents took him that far and made him do the impossible. As patience is not about doing nothing but it’s about constantly doing everything you can, but being patient about the results.

“The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up. His work is like that of the planter-for the future. His duty is to lay the foundation for those who are to come, and point the way.”

5. Never stop creating

Creation is the ultimate power of invention. Minds are like parachutes, they work best when open, as changes call for innovation, and innovation leads to progress.
“Invention is the most important product of man’s creative brain. The ultimate purpose is the complete mastery of mind over the material world, the harnessing of human nature to human needs”

6. Money is not everything

In today’s world people are looking up to the business ideas that can reward them with millions of dollars but Tesla’s belief towards money was different he encourages us to create and innovate, for making the lives of people easy and making this world a better place to live.

If there are rewards for what you do then it’s great, but if not then creation is a reward itself.

Money does not represent such a value as men have placed upon it. All my money has been invested in experiments with which I have made new discoveries enabling mankind to have a little easier life”

7. Don’t pay attention to what others are doing

Tesla’s life was full of ups and downs, many people with whom he worked stole his patents and made millions of money, whereas Tesla continued to work on his ideas and donated all of his money which left him in poverty. He never cared that they stole his ideas and were making huge amounts of money, instead he was amazed and cared that they themselves didn’t have their own ideas and plans. So rather focusing on what you have lost, we should put the focus on what we can put into the world.
“I don’t care that they stole my idea but I do care that they don’t have any of their own.”
